This episode contained more new metal than you could have shaken a stick at.
Couldn’t join you guys so I had an admin queue a re-run instead.
A battle of the Laid to Rests, a couple requests, an explanation of Spencer Gooch’s appeal, and Opeth.
Perhaps the most solid episode yet. Hear great new tracks, news of upcoming releases, and a listener request that really grabbed my attention.
The 131st running of the Kentucky Derby (I live in Louisville) and the day before my week-long trip to Cambridge, MA. No show.
Still need to flesh out this archive.
The first show without a Children of Bodom track. Still plenty of great metal included here.
WIMPS AND POSEURS, LEAVE THE HALL!
Show was sucked into the cold, unfeeling black of space.
New episode, but not airing live. Enjoy this pre-recorded episode while I suffer through a wedding where I don’t know anyone.
A special Album Showcase edition with a few other great tracks in for good measure.
This episode will not be well remembered. Partially because the playlist turned out a bit weak and partially because nobody heard it.
Show preempted by a trip to Cleveland to see an old college buddy get married.
If you haven’t heard the new Children of Bodom EP yet, you’ll definitely want to grab this archive.
Short episode packed out with Swedish founders and a stunning Danish act requested by one of my devoted listeners.
Show preempted by a trip to Cincinnati with the spousal unit.
I guess it’s time to admit that I wish I lived in Götenborg. Also, now with infinity% more black metal!
Personal emergency at T minus 25 minutes. Played a re-run of a show very few of you heard when it aired live.
Fear not over last week’s absence. Here is a brand new episode chock full of less than brand new music. Come see what was played.
Show preempted by a trip to Paoli Peaks with the lads.
This episode is unusually light on US bands, unusually heavy on power metal, and contains absolutely no Jesus metal (merely by chance, of course).
2005 is off and running proper with a healthy dose of new metal (no, not nümetal).
Read about the last Dead Air of 2004. Download the archive. Relive the magic; bring the magic home.
Internet troubles in Sverige; whole station was offline.
If you missed this sweet show, we rocked out without you. But here’s what you missed.
Host was visiting family for the holidays.
It’s a good thing I archive this show because not many of you caught this episode.
New records have been set, and new listeners are joining the show like crazy. Find out what all the fuss was about during the break-through episode!
After last week’s SNAFU, Dead Air has returned to wreck shop once again. Check out our latest aural assault.
Host was selling a car, and it ended up taking far longer than anticipated.
Show number nine is in the can. If you missed it in whole or in part, here is the archive.
Best sounding Dead Air yet! Played tons of your requests during this show.
Back live and once again bickering with Elendil over the relative merits of various bands. Check here for the full story.
I had to be out of town this weekend, but I didn’t realize it in time to pre-record a new show. So I decided to re-air the September 4th show during the time slot. Sorry!
UPDATE: kalleboo forgot to queue up the re-run. Boo.
Another great show in the can. Here are the show notes and archives from an exceptionally well-received edition of Dead Air.
This was the first show not to air live. It was pre-recorded so I could visit with my in-laws. You can find out what went on though.

Hope you tuned in for the special NEVAR FORGET edition of the show. If not, you can find out what you missed on the show and in the discussion.
Check out the smoothest Dead Air yet! As always, you can get the full audio archive here along with the show notes and track listing.
Better on the technical side this week, and some good dongs were played as well. We all had a good time I think. Find out what all happened during show number two.
The first show was a little rocky. I forgot to boot the VoiceOver plugin in Nicecast at the beginning. Then buffering problems abounded as my G4-500 struggled to encode on-the-fly and do other things at the same time.
