• proved to those who’d forgotten that In Flames haven’t always sucked
• I liked Obsolete better than a lot of you, and I played a track off it for the crowd over at KnightLAN who had the show tuned in on the big speakers
• the Hammerfall track attracted to the channel a mystery goon disguised as PowerMetalFaggot
• apologies for the low quality rip off the new Maroon album, but I wanted my Unearth loving brothers to hear it
• Within Temptation, it is speculated, have only two dongs recorded
• back-to-back Hildgrim style followed that (by the way, thanks for the new segue, pal!)
• I spend more time talking about Slayer than playing them on the show (because I respect them more than I actually like their music these days)
• the IRC folks begged me to play this Rhapsody track despite my misgivings
• closed with a typically titled minute of Screaming Afterbirth agony

One way for me to know when my audience is enjoying the show is when more of the discussion is about the music than the standard E/N channel noise. According to that measure, this was a decent show. That is especially relieving because I had a new group of listeners this week, the KnightLAN crew. They’re a bunch of guys who get together to LAN from time to time at the school I where I work. Many of them are metal fans, and they decided to tune in. Hope it was enjoyed by all as you pwned the breakfast buffet, guys. Cactus? I think so.

Also, don’t forget to donate to the “Thank kalleboo for Building This City” fund. On that topic, a quick correction: in one mic segment, I said we were going to get Kuuenbu a bag of peanut butter cups. Despite having a nick that closely resembles kalleboo’s, Kuuenbu will not be receiving any cups. That was a slip of the tongue.
